	CREATIVE CONSULTING BY J.A. SIGLER, ARTIST What is creative consulting? Just as an artist sees potential in materials, the creative consultant uses his artistic vision to create and innovate within the client's environment and circumstances. Specific environments may include home interiors, commercial installations, business workspaces, retail displays, and visual/graphic arts presentations. Drawing from a "palette" of diverse resources, the creative consultant is able to offer unique aesthetic alternatives to a variety of visual and spatial challenges. It is the creative consultant's job to be acutely sensitive to the client's needs, desires, aesthetic tastes and limitations. Once these parameters for the project have been determined (the "artist's sketch"), then the creative consultant applies his skill and resources to affect the stylized product (the "showpiece"). The results of creative consulting are as unique as an original work of art. Thus, the consulting client receives value from the original perspective offered by the creative consultant, a wealth of knowledge and resources in the aesthetic arts, and the savings of time and energy which would be necessary for the client to organize and complete the project single-handedly. As well, having experiential knowledge of market rates for a variety of goods and services, the creative consultant is often able to save the client money! How is creative consulting beneficial? In an ever-changing competitive business environment, creative consulting can provide an original presentation which will project a fresh image for the client. As well, creative consulting can produce innovative solutions for the client limited by space, time, or money. And most significantly, creative consulting is useful in guiding a client through the process to develop his/her own personal style, one which suits his disposition, lifestyle, and budget.

	Examples of Completed Projects
	Designed a new logo and promotional brochure for an organization devoted to health and well-being. Redecorated and furnished the home of a young executive, including custom fabrication of furniture, lighting, and window treatments. Designed and fabricated Christmas ornaments for an historic Bed & Breakfast, incorporating their unique coat-of-arms.
